Meet Parisian Door, our paint by numbers kit by All The Ways To Say. An original illustration by Claire Leina featuring a woman walking away from a navy blue Parisian doorway, number 7 engraved above the arch, entirely hidden behind a bouquet so generous you can't see her face, or the door itself.

A brush in hand, a few flowers to bring to life one at a time, and a door that patiently waits while you take your time. The kind of evening that does you good, solo or with someone to share the result.

Inside the box: a 24.5 x 32 cm illustration printed on thick 350gsm paper, a full-color reference with tips and instructions, a sheet of numbered stickers, two brushes made in Brittany, France (handy for navigating all these flowers without missing one), and all the bio-based acrylic paint you'll need, designed and made in France, brush to paint.

No painting experience required, but expect small areas and fine details, tucked between each petal and the building's mouldings. A project best savored over time, not rushed in one evening.

Once finished, this flower-covered door clearly deserves its place on the wall, right next to the entrance it's inspired by.

Claire Leina is the founder and creative director of All the Ways to Say, and the artist behind every illustration.

For me, painting is not just about the final result. It's a feeling: the kind that comes from focusing, letting go, and allowing the outside world to wait. I created these kits to share that experience.

Do I need any artistic skill?

No painting experience needed — but a little patience definitely helps. Some of our designs are highly detailed, with small areas that require a steady hand and a bit of concentration. Nothing you can't do, just don't expect to finish it in one sitting. Take your time — that's part of the fun 😌.

What does the Detail Level mean?

The Detail Level tells you how intricate the illustration is — the higher the level, the more small areas and fine details you'll find. A higher level doesn't mean you need more painting skills, just a little more time, patience and precision. Think less “hard”, more “I might be here a while.” 😅

How long does it take to complete?

There's no stopwatch here 😉. It really depends on the design, its Detail Level and your own pace. Our kits are made to be enjoyed over several painting sessions, especially the more detailed ones. So put on a good playlist, take your time and come back to it whenever you feel like it.

What's included in the kit?

Everything you need: one illustration to paint (24.5 × 32 cm, 350gsm paper), a full-color reference with tips, a sheet of numbered stickers, two brushes, and several pots of bio-based acrylic paint. Designed and made in France. 🇫🇷

Does the illustration come framed?

No, the illustration is delivered unframed, on thick 350gsm paper, ready to paint. We don't currently offer a frame option, so you'll want to frame it yourself once finished.

What kind of paint is included?

Our water-based acrylic paint is made in France, mostly from naturally derived ingredients, with low VOCs and very little odor.

Remember to close the pots tightly between uses to keep the paint in good condition.

Is it a good gift idea?

Definitely. It works both as a relaxing activity to enjoy yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone who could use a moment to slow down.
